Located in Charlotte, NC, SHERYL VANDERMOLEN INTERIORS, INC, is a residential interior design firm that brings innovative elements to classic design, blending traditional and more modern elements to create environments that are timeless and cutting-edge all at the same time. Owner and head designer Sheryl Vandermolen uses a very hands-on approach to execute interiors that are as functional and livable as they are beautiful. Sheryl believes that every inch of a home should be used to its fullest potential - no room is so precious that it cannot be lived in. Sheryl works very closely with her clients to learn about their lifestyles and then gives them a home that is fashioned to their needs and vision.

Sheryl received a Bachelors of Science degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology and studied Interior Design at Parsons School of Design. She began her interior design career in New York City as a Junior Designer for Robert Metzger Interiors. After the firm closed in 1994, she was invited to join Cullman & Kravis as a Project Manager and soon after promoted to Senior Design Associate. Working closely with principal Ellie Cullman for over seven years, Sheryl's involvement in high-end residential projects honed her skills and refined her tastes. Sheryl founded her own firm in April 2001, when she moved to Charlotte from New York City. In addition to Manhattan and Charlotte, Sheryl has designed residences in the Hamptons, Westport CT, Rye, NY, Kiawah Island, Palm Beach, and Martha's Vineyard.

Sheryl has been featured in Charlotte Magazine, in 2004, as well as participated in the Mint Museum Home tour in 2006.

Sheryl's distinctive style and warm personality have helped her build strong relationships with her clients, who have continued to work with her over the years on second, third, and even fourth homes. Sheryl is passionate about creating warm, beautiful homes and aims to create a complete lifestyle for her clients through design.
